What is the Pricester Affiliate Program? The Pricester Affiliate Program will pay you every time you refer a new Pricester member registration from your site. Joining the Pricester Affiliate Program is not only a way to make money, but it can also add value to your site. The program provides a high level of support, plus content, and tutorials.

How do I get started with the affiliate program? It's a simple three-step process: read the Operating Agreement, fill out the Affiliate Application, and when Pricester accepts your application, you will be notified via email about how to link to us and start earning money.

Can I participate if I live outside the U.S.? Yes, there is no geographic restriction to sign up and take advantage of the Pricester community. And any sites in English and based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada or Australia are eligible to participate in the Pricester Affiliate Program. Also, commission payments for affiliates will be made in U.S. dollars only.

Why do I have to provide my social security number? We need this information for tax filing purposes. If you are an individual (as opposed to a business/corporation), we need your Social Security number, because if your calendar-year commissions exceed $600, Pricester must issue you a Form 1099MISC at the end of the calendar year that must be filed with Form 1040.

Does my Web site qualify for the Pricester Affiliate Program? Anyone can apply for the program. However, Pricester reserves the right to refuse any site, especially if it contains unsuitable material. Web sites that would violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourage illegal activity or racism; or feature hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography will be deemed unacceptable for the Pricester Affiliate Program.

I don't have a Web site yet. Can I still apply to be an affiliate with Pricester? No, you must have an existing Web site in order to become a Pricester affiliate.

Commission Fees and Payment

How does Pricester track members coming from my Web site? Pricester uses MyAffiliateProgram software from Kowabunga Marketing, Inc., as well as Shareasale to track members whom you refer to Pricester. You can choose to promote Pricester with either technology.

How can I keep track of how many people visit and register with Pricester? Simply log in to your Pricester account at http://www.pricester.com/affiliates to access a variety of online reports, where you can track not only your click-throughs and commissions but also other activity to help increase sales.

How much will I earn with Pricester? You will receive $1.25 per new Pricester member registration that you refer from your site. No fees shall be payable if a visitor leaves the Pricester site without filling out the form fully (including the following fields: first name, last name, full name, email address, phone number, and zip code). When you refer the sale of a Pricester Complete package ($199), you will earn $50.

When and how do I get paid? You will be paid monthly by check when your Pricester account reaches a minimum of $25. If your earnings are less than $25, the amount will be carried over to the next month. Commission checks are issued within 35 days of the end of each month.

How long does the Pricester cookie last? The Pricester cookie, a small file stored on the computer of somebody that clicks your affiliate link, last for 45 days. That means that if somebody clicks on your link and doesn't register right away, the will have a cookie with your referral ID on their computer, so if they register within the next 45 days, you will get credit.

Setting Up My Affiliate Links

Where will I find Pricester banners, buttons, and text links? Simply log in to your Pricester account at http://www.pricester.com/affiliates to access the variety of linking options.

How can I download graphics and logos from Pricester to my Web site? All the graphics and logos are hosted on the Pricester server, and the linking codes at http://www.pricester.com/affiliates include the code for the graphics. You may not host any Pricester graphics on your site .

May I link to Pricester from more than one Web site? Yes. You are welcome to link to Pricester from multiple Web sites, as long as none of the sites violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourages illegal activity or racism; or features hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography. Submit the URLs for all sites, which you plan to use to promote Pricester, via email to affiliates@pricester.com . In order to break out the tracking for multiple Web sites, you can append your affiliate URL with any word, number or combination of up to 10 characters.

When visitors click on the Multiple Site Affiliate URL in the example above, we would track the Affiliate ID and the sub-ID of "babylounge" and this would show up in the Current Sub ID Report .

Maintaining My Pricester Affiliate Account

How can I promote Pricester? Pricester will provide banners, buttons, and text links that you can use on your site. We have found that the text links are the most effective marketing tool for generating Pricester membership registrations. In addition to your Web site, you may promote Pricester through an opt-in mailing list.

How will my visitors register for the Pricester membership? Your graphic and text links will take your visitors right to Pricester, so that registration is quick and easy.

How can I change my affiliate account information? Simply log in to http://www.pricester.com/affiliates and scroll to the bottom of the page to update your account information.

Promoting My Web Site

Can I change or personalize the images provided by Pricester? No. It is not permissible to change or personalize any Pricester images.

Can I use Pricester in my URL or in the name of my site? No. The use of Pricester or any variation thereof in your URL or in the name of your site will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the affiliate program. In such a case when you breach the affiliate agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned commissions.

What kind of advertising can I do? Be creative-write a newsletter for visitors to your site, write a testimonial about Pricester, write an article. Note that you may use any copy on http://www.pricester.com/affiliates , but if you wish to write your own copy, you must send it to Pricester at affiliates@pricester.com for review.

What kind of advertising is prohibited? You cannot send unsolicited email (aka spam) in any way. There will be no leniency in cases of unsolicited email, and affiliates in violation of this policy will forfeit their commissions and be removed from the program.

Can I issue a press release or other kind of announcement regarding my affiliation with Pricester? No. Pricester will author and issue any announcements to the media. Feel free to submit this press release to your local media.
